Rangers Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
Fans who congregated at Rangers Stadium were treated to extra-inning drama.

A 3-RBI performance from first baseman Yun Yen, who is on pace to hit 24 home runs this season, led the Austin Rangers to a 7-6 win over the Boston Patriots. Austin reliever Júlio Rodríguez picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. José Sánchez took the loss.

The game came to an abrupt end with two out in the bottom of the tenth. On a pitch from José Sánchez, Freddy Torres hit a walk-off run-scoring single. It gave Austin the 7-6 walk-off win.

Torres said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."

With the win, the Rangers improved to 21-20.
