A 3-RBI performance from Shahid Afridi, who is rated as the 73rd best prospect by BNN, helped the Springfield Shooters beat the Ottawa Nationals, 8-4. With the win, Springfield boosts its record to 4-2.
Also producing for Springfield was shortstop Chet Hollis, who stroked a 2-run triple in the top of the first. For the game, Hollis was 2-5 with a triple and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
