Polar Bears Edge Past Marquette, 5-3

The Billings Polar Bears put one in the win column on Opening Day at The Igloo. The Polar Bears defeated the Marquette Miners, 5-3. Billings left fielder Fa-tang Wang was instrumental in his team's success. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Bryan Tuff, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.
The outcome might have been different had it not been for Wang. In the bottom of the eighth inning, when the Polar Bears were trailing 3-2, Wang delivered a two-out 3-run home run for Billings, giving his team the lead.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Wang said after the game.
