Timber Hawks Suffer 6-1 Setback
|
Tremont Doubledays starter Mathieu Neri was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Augusta Timber Hawks, 6-1. Neri went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 4, and struck out 2. His record improves to 7-8. Tremont is now 47-52, Augusta 44-55.
Tremont took a 5-1 lead on Arturo Morales's 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Augusta pitcher Earnest Cogan in the top of the seventh.
