Supernovas Need Extra Frames to Get Past Belugas
|
Fans who gathered at Belugas Ballpark saw a good contest between the Scranton Supernovas and Brinkley Belugas.
Scranton Supernovas starter Luis Zaragoza was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Brinkley Belugas, 6-4. Scranton now owns a record of 45-48.
It could have been a different outcome for Scranton, had it not been for Senior Pond, the 24-year old center fielder . Pond contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 11th inning to put Scranton up, 5-4.
"This kind of game is tough on the heart," said winning manager Henry Russell.
