The Tremont Doubledays beat the Alaskan Humpbacks, 9-4, at Sea World. The win was largely due to the efforts of catcher Pablo Ledesma, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Min-gook Chong was the winner. Over 8 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, with 4 walks and 5 strikeouts. The Doubledays, at 41-47, sit in 8th place in the Menard's AAA.
Early in the game, shortstop David Pérez had a 2-run double for Tremont. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Doubledays on top, 2-0.
"I was a little disappointed," said Alaskan manager Karim Moulin. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
