Brinkley Belugas starter Juan Hernández turned in a top-notch performance against the Alaskan Humpbacks at Sea World. The result was a win for the Belugas, 4-1. Bob Roth recorded his 18th save for Brinkley. Brinkley is 10th in the Menard's AAA with a record of 37-48.

Tied up with the Humpbacks in the top of the fourth, the Belugas got a boost from left fielder Enrico Betancourt. With a runner on 1st, Betancourt saw a 0-1 curveball from Coy Broderick and hit a run-scoring triple to break the stalemate and put Brinkley on top, 2-1.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Betancourt told the Brinkley News.
