Belugas Come Up Short at Hialeah
|
The Hialeah Dodos picked up a win at Dodos Ballpark, knocking off the Brinkley Belugas, 6-1. Starting pitcher Stanley Eldrige played a key role in the triumph. Eldrige picked up the win for Hialeah, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 12-4. The Dodos are now 55-29, while the Belugas fall to 36-48.
Also making an impact was designated hitter Lorenzo Ramírez, who drilled a 3-run home run in the bottom of the third for Hialeah. For the game, Ramírez went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3.
