Dodos Reel Off Another Win
|
Hialeah starter Miguel Álvarez pitched effectively against the Brinkley Belugas at Belugas Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a 2-1 win. Carlos Garza earned the save for Hialeah, his 10th of the year. Hialeah has now reeled off 6 straight wins.
The Dodos got a big at-bat from Stephen McManus. For the game, McManus went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. In the top of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 14th hit of the season gave Hialeah a 2-1 lead.
