Coyotes Continue Skid, Thanks to Brewer, Doubledays
|
A 5-RBI performance from Otis Brewer, who is tied for 7th in the 3AAA in home runs with 11, helped the Tremont Doubledays beat the Hamilton Coyotes, 10-1. Hamilton has now lost 5 consecutive games.
Carlos González was a key contributor to the win for the Doubledays. In the top of the first with one out, the light-hitting left fielder stroked a triple to right. He was 2-5 with a triple, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"We maximized our offense today," said Tremont skipper Lendon Tipton. "That makes everyone's life easier."
