The Bloomington Longnecks picked up a win at Doubledays Stadium, knocking off the Tremont Doubledays, 3-2. Starting pitcher George Eisenhauer played a key role in the triumph. Bloomington reliever William Waters was the winner. His record is now 2-2. The losing pitcher was Nick Richie. Tremont has now lost 4 straight.
Sean Davis was a key contributor to the win for the Longnecks. In the top of the ninth with two out, the light-hitting shortstop stroked a triple to right. He was 2-4 with a triple.
