Late Rally Gets Win for Red Pandas
|
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas outlasted George Eisenhauer and the Bloomington Longnecks, 10-4. Eisenhauer was impressive in the loss. The Bloomington pitcher threw 8 innings of 7-hit ball. The Red Pandas now have a record of 11-25 with the win over Bloomington.
The most critical at-bat came in the top of the tenth inning. With one out, Yoshifumi Sato hit a 0-2 fastball from Richard Sykes for a run-scoring single. It put Sioux Falls in front, 5-4.
"We maximized our offense today," said Sioux Falls skipper Barry Embling. "That makes everyone's life easier."
