The Brinkley Belugas downed the Tremont Doubledays, 6-3, at Doubledays Stadium. The Belugas were led by Steve Jones, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 3 times. Esteban Gómez, who went 7 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 6 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 2-2.
