Dante Helps Rangers Run Win Streak to 3
The Austin Rangers grabbed a 7-5 win over the Phoenix Hotspur at Rangers Stadium. Austin center fielder Count Dante went 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 3 times to earn player of the game honors. Art Adams earned the win for Austin. He lasted 7.1 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 6 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 1-0. Júlio Rodríguez nailed down his 1st save.
