Pitcher Myles Wilkerson was sensational for the Brinkley Belugas in his team's 2-0 triumph over the Sioux Falls Red Pandas. Wilkerson received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Bob Roth, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 3rd save. The Red Pandas fall to 3-7 and continue their wobbly start to the 2028 season.

In the top of the sixth, Brinkley designated hitter Marcos Deleón had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 2nd and one out, Deleón stroked a run-scoring double to right. It made the score 1-0, Brinkley. For the game, he was 1-4 with a double.

"It'd be nice to win by four or five runs," Deleón said, "instead of holding our breath the whole game."
