The Brinkley Belugas beat the Hialeah Dodos, 6-2, at Dodos Ballpark. The win was largely due to the efforts of first baseman Randy Tucker, who captured player of the game honors. He was 4 for 4 with 4 singles and a walk. The win pushes Brinkley to a record of 4-3.
In the top of the second inning, third baseman Brandon Cole came through big-time for the Belugas. With Brinkley leading 2-0, he belted a 3-run home run.
Tucker called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
