|
Brinkley beat Santa Barbara at Crane Field, eking out a 5-2 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Juan Hernández, who earned player of the game honors. The winning pitcher was Hernández, now 1-0. He tossed 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 3. Picking up the save was Alonso Cruz, his 1st.
