Rangers Go Down to Defeat, 6-2
|
The Wizarding Express downed the Austin Rangers, 6-2, at Rangers Stadium. Fernando Sánchez led the way, going 2-for-4 for Wizarding. Dorian Daly finished to wrap up his 1st save. With the win over Austin, the Express improved to 16-10.
Sánchez had a game-changing home run in the top of the first. On a 1-0 fastball from Mark Collingwood, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Express a 4-0 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Sánchez.
"Getting the win feels pretty nice," said Sánchez. "More importantly, I had a good game."
