Dutchmen Come Back Late to Clip Hawks
New Amsterdam Dutchmen starter Pedro Castro was in fine form against the Chicago Hawks at Dutch Master Park, leading his team to a 5-3 win. New Amsterdam reliever Ron Madison got the win, raising his record to 1-2. Santiago Maes was tagged with the loss. The 8th-place Dutchmen now have a win-loss record of 14-16.

New Amsterdam took a 5-3 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when SaQwan Hackett hit a clutch 2-run home run to bring Dutchmen fans to their feet.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Castro.
