The Kingston Township Legion relied on the hitting of third baseman Jim Scott to stop the Capital District Red Knights, 5-2. For the game, Scott went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. John Riggleman picked up the save, his 3rd. The win takes Kingston Township to 3-5.
The Legion got a big at-bat from Jeffery Campbell. For the game, Campbell went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Kingston Township a 2-0 lead.
