Chicago and Oakland duked it out at Gold Sox Field and the Gold Sox came out victorious.
Todd Henry did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Oakland Oaks from losing, 8-4, to the Chicago Gold Sox at Gold Sox Field. Henry slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Shuntavyious Primes-Willes earned the win to go to 13-5. He allowed 2 earned runs on 4 hits, with 1 walk and 4 strikeouts.
The fans who came in support of the Gold Sox were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Gold Sox Field.
The Oaks have now dropped 5 straight.
