Middies Deal Cattlemen Painful Loss
Mario Ramos was instrumental in his team's 6-5 triumph over the Ft. Worth Cattlemen. The first baseman was 3-4 with 2 home runs for the Grafton Middies. The Middies, now at 48-55, know that wins in September count the same as wins in September.

One important at-bat came with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the eighth. That's when Stefano Gaddi drew a walk. The Middies went on to win.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Gaddi told the Grafton Today.
