Dodgers Sink Cattlemen, 5-4
|
A 3-RBI performance from right fielder Brent Ryan led the Brooklyn Dodgers to a 5-4 win over the Ft. Worth Cattlemen. Their 62-31 record puts the Dodgers first in the Silver League.
Brooklyn grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the sixth, when Ryan hit a 3-run home run. His 5th home run put the Dodgers out in front, 5-4.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Ft. Worth manager Scott Thompson.
