Injury Shuts Down Villanueva for Season Monday, July 20th, 2026 Juan Villanueva had to wait several agonizing days to find out his diagnosis after suffering a fractured elbow on 07/18/2026. Today he received word from the Little Caesars doctor that he would be out the rest of the year. Team officials called it a huge setback but something they would have to overcome.
