PAA Awards Best Batter Prize to Vanderhoof Monday, May 24th, 2027 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Double A, but last week Stefan Vanderhoof of the San Antonio BC reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Vanderhoof rocked opposing pitching for a .583 average (14-for-24), no home runs and 5 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Vanderhoof has delivered 28 hits in 66 at-bats for a .424 average with 1 home run. He is getting on base at a .487 clip and his totals also include 8 RBIs and 11 runs scored. This year Vanderhoof has played in 18 games. |
