Luna Selected Top Performer in PAA Monday, August 16th, 2027 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Double A, but last week Javier Luna of the Asheville Highlanders reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Luna rocked opposing pitching for a .438 average (7-for-16), 2 home runs and 10 RBIs to come away with the award. So far in 2027 Luna is batting .318 with 11 home runs, 56 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has 95 hits in 299 at-bats and a .389 OBP. |
