Season-Ending Injury for Vega Tuesday, August 10th, 2027 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Lancaster's Javier Vega to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 08/07/2027 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Vega said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Vega has been out of action since he suffered a ruptured finger tendon. On the year Vega is hitting .217 with 20 hits, 1 home run, 8 RBIs, .318 OBP and has scored 10 runs. |
