Witt Week's #1 Player Monday, August 2nd, 2027 So far in his young career, Preston Witt has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Jersey City Tritons first baseman hit at a torrid .444 clip as he collected 12 hits in 27 at-bats, no home runs, 7 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This season Witt is hitting at a .340 pace with 10 home runs, 49 RBIs and has scored 45 times. |
