PAAA Announces Player of the Week Monday, September 6th, 2027 23-year-old Ricardo Téllez made a few Sunset District headlines during this past week as the rookie shortstop proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USPL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 27 at-bats to put up a .481 average. Téllez collected 1 home run, 5 RBIs and scored 7 runs. For the season Téllez has hit .263 with 7 home runs and 44 RBIs. He has played in 96 games and scored 54 times. |
