Star of the Week Named in PAAA Monday, August 31st, 2026 At the age of 32, Miguel Martínez might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Athletic Club KC designated hitter put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .467 batting average. For his efforts Martínez collected the USPL Triple A Player of the Week Award. He racked up 7 hits in 15 at-bats, 3 home runs and 10 RBIs last week in 4 games. This year Martínez is hitting at a .204 pace with 13 home runs and 42 RBIs. He has played in 80 games and scored 32 times. |
