Blevins Tags Humpbacks for 5 Hits Sunday, September 12th, 2027 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Bubba Blevins today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Sea World and paced the Longnecks to a 10-5 win over the Alaskan Humpbacks. After his dynamite batting performance the Bloomington second baseman told the press, "I just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid some great dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Bubba Blevins hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
