Payling Slaps 5 Hits Tuesday, August 24th, 2027 History in the making. That's what the fans at Coyote Wildlife Refuge got to see today, when Bloomington outplayed the Coyotes 6-1. Chris Payling of the Longnecks came to the plate 6 times and came away with a dynamite day as he exploded for 5 hits against Hamilton. In the postgame press conference the Hamilton skipper quipped to reporters, "Hey, we tried to get him out. We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the kitchen sink." Chris Payling doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
