Cardenas Sizzles -- Smokes Supernovas for 5 Hits Sunday, August 15th, 2027 Alfredo Cardenas had an answer for everything the Scranton Supernovas threw him today in the Hamilton 18-2 triumph at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. He made good contact 5 times and 5 times he drilled the ball for a base hit. The Hamilton center fielder went 5 for 5 in the game to put his name in the record book. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Cardenas said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Alfredo Cardenas walked in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit a three-run double in the 8th.
