Third League Selects #1 Rookie Monday, November 1st, 2027 Chicago's Keisuke Nishida took the hill for 25 starts this year, came away with 13 victories and copped the 2027 Third League Newcomer of the Year Award as well. The 26-year-old newcomer tossed 157.2 innings and dealt out 141 strikeouts, while holding opposing batters to a .178 average. Nishida fashioned a 13-4 won-lost mark with a 1.94 ERA. John Ennis of the Portland Evergreens finished second in voting, while Manoo Satyavrat of the Philadelphia 1776 BC finished third. |
