Star of the Week Selected in 3L Monday, August 30th, 2027 John Ennis demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Third League Player of the Week Award. The Portland first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .562 average (9-for-16) with 2 home runs and 8 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. Thus far this season in 89 games Ennis is batting .278 with 18 home runs, 61 RBIs and 53 runs scored. He has 93 hits in 334 at-bats. |
