Pérez Honored, 2027 SL Outstanding Hitter Award Thursday, November 4th, 2027 He may have less experience than some veteran members of the United States Silver League, but that didn't slow Gabriel Pérez down at alll in 2027. At the age of 26, the Phoenix center fielder has been named the winner of the Silver League Outstanding Hitter Award. He had a .276 batting average and a .363 on-base percentage this year. In 108 games he piled up 111 hits, 10 doubles, 4 triples, 29 home runs, 94 RBIs and 82 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year." Mario Cruz of the Phoenix Hotspur finished second in voting, while Pedro Santos of the Grafton Middies finished third. |
