Golaio Picked Best SL Pitcher Wednesday, November 3rd, 2027 The Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Natalino Golaio, this year's Silver League Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Golaio compiled a 13-6 record in 23 starts, tallied 135 strikeouts in 155.2 innings and recorded a 2.37 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .205 batting average against him. Pedro Valdéz of the Vancouver Grey Wolves finished second in voting, while Juan Guillén of the Rocky Mountain Nuggets finished third. |
