Injury Derails Season for Salazar Friday, August 20th, 2027 Martín Salazar has to call it a season. The Mt. Vernon Bulls starting pitcher learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 08/17/2027 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as shoulder inflammation and stated that he would not be able to play for 5-6 months. The team will likely place Salazar on the disabled list today. In 19 starts this season Salazar has registered a 4-10 record and a 3.38 ERA. |
