Washington's Garibay Elbows His Way to SA Award Friday, September 24th, 2027 The Washington clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Baruc Garibay will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2027 USSL Single A Outstanding Pitcher Award. Garibay made 27 starts this year, winning 11 and losing 8. He threw 177 innings, fanned 192, allowed 113 hits and 50 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .183 average as he logged an impressive 1.63 ERA. António Muńóz of the Syracuse Storm finished second in voting, while Benjamin Busto of the Put-In-Bay BC finished third. |
