Bad Boy Brawlers Suspended 6 Games Friday, August 20th, 2027 It was quite a row yesterday at The Heron Refuge. The Herons Éric Leroux and the Chukars Vicente Romero backed up their angry words with a few shoves and a few swings. Then both dugouts raced onto the field and got involved in the fracas. When it was over, only Leroux and Romero were ejected. As expected they were informed by the league office that they would each have to serve 6-game suspensions for their inappropriate actions. Presently Leroux is hitting .231 with 1 home run and 9 RBIs. He has played in 53 games and scored 9 times. Thus far this season, Romero has worked 51.1 innings with 43 strikeouts en route to a 2-3 record and a 4.03 ERA. |
