Wooderson of Delaware Crowned Best Player Monday, August 9th, 2027 David Wooderson must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .529 clip, then the Delaware shortstop finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the 3A Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Wooderson batted .529 (9-for-17) with no home runs and 7 RBIs. In 75 games this year Wooderson has posted a .242 average and put up these numbers: 3 home runs, 23 RBIs and 44 runs scored. |
