Week's Premier Performer Honored by PL Monday, August 23rd, 2027 At the age of 28, Gabriel Maldonado might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Atlanta first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .435 batting average. For his efforts Maldonado collected the Premier League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 10 hits in 23 at-bats, 4 home runs and 9 RBIs last week in 6 games. Maldonado is batting .242 with 17 home runs and 49 RBIs this season. |
