Injury Brings Season to End for Vásquez Friday, August 13th, 2027 Xavier Vásquez has to call it a season. The Austin Rangers shortstop learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 08/10/2027 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a fractured ankle and stated that he would not be able to play for 4 months. The team will likely place Vásquez on the disabled list today. Currently Vásquez is batting .255 with 5 home runs and 32 RBIs. |
