Martínez Nabs PL Weekly Award Monday, August 9th, 2027 23-year-old Tomás Martínez sent shock waves through United States Premier League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Premier League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Martínez made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .357 average, 5 hits in 14 at-bats, 4 home runs and 10 RBI. Where the Richardson City Thundercats first baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Martínez certainly made his mark last week. For the year Martínez has hit .277 with 11 home runs, 42 RBIs and scored 28 runs. |
