Randall in Fine Form in 3-0 Win
|
Vancouver Grey Wolves starter Ambrose Randall turned in a top-notch performance against the Toledo Stingers at Wolf Den in Vancouver. The result was a win for the Grey Wolves, 3-0. The save went to Francisco Valdés, his 8th this season. The slumping Stingers have dropped 7 in a row.
Randall, a native of Hollywood, Florida, was dealing all game. He kept Toledo hitters off-balance, while giving the Grey Wolves 7 quality innings. Randall threw 100 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 8.
"We didn't score," said losing manager TJ Reynolds. "That was the problem."
