Grafton beat Toledo at Field of the Middies, eking out a 5-3 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Allen Yohemas, who earned player of the game honors. The Toledo losing streak has now reached 4 games.

San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic-born Mario Ramos came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Middies trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run single to center to put Grafton on top.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Yohemas told a Grafton Observer reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
