Middies Win 3-2 Walk-Off

The Middies faced a stiff challenge from Phoenix pitcher Alejandro Guerra, but persevered to claim a win at Field of the Middies. The final score was 3-2. Guerra went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The 9th-place Middies are now 32-42, the Hotspur 48-26.
Grafton won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. That's when first baseman Mario Ramos hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Middies fans to their feet.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Phoenix skipper Michael Esposito, "and it cost us."
