The Grafton Middies picked up a win at The Cattle Pen, knocking off the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 5-4. On the mound for Grafton was right-hander Dave Turner, who played a pivotal role in the win. Ft. Worth has now lost 5 straight.

Pedro Santos had the most critical at-bat for Grafton, coming in the top of the 12th inning with one out and the bases loaded. Santos hit a full count cutter from Francisco López for a run-scoring single. It put Grafton in front, 5-4.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Santos told the Grafton Observer.
