|
Despite a great performance by Seattle third baseman John MacGregor, the Phoenix Hotspur defeated the Aviators by the score of 5-4 at Chase Field. MacGregor went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Phoenix has an impressive 41-19 record.
Also contributing to the win was designated hitter Shojiro Ueda, who stroked a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third for Phoenix. For the game, Ueda was 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Seattle manager Mau Delgado.
