Pacesetter Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Grafton Middies and the Toledo Stingers.
Dave Ash was instrumental in his team's 7-3 triumph over the Toledo Stingers. The right fielder was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 3 times for the Grafton Middies. Lynwood Matos earned the save for Grafton, his 13th of the year.
Stefano Gaddi contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the seventh. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run double. It was one at-bat that propelled Grafton to the win.
"We did enough to win," said Ash.
After today's action, Grafton sits at 26-30, while Toledo falls to 30-26.
